Bill Allen is the head of Interactive Development at BooneOakley, a full service ad agency in Charlotte, NC. As an interactive developer, he is tasked with helping the agency become more digitally fluent, through providing insights, connections, and strategies to execute technology-driven projects and campaigns.

After receiving his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Bill worked freelance for several small design shops. Once he landed his first job at an ad agency, he was hooked and has been at it ever since. He worked as Associate Creative Director at 22squared, and as a digital artist for Brighthouse Consultancy, taking on clients such as Toyota, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Delta Airlines, as well as multiple campaigns for the Ad Council.

Since arriving at BooneOakley, one of his most celebrated achievements has been the agency’s work for The One Show in 2009. Bill also helped to create booneoakley.com, the agency’s unique website. His success in the industry can be attributed to his philosophy that “clients don’t want to hear a pitch, they want to see something that allows them to see the potential of their own business.” His clients, whom he calls “those who dare to do daring work,” have included Ruby Tuesday, CarMax, Bloom Grocery Stores, MTV2, HBO, and many more.
